NICARAGUA: Rizo calls for dissolution of "El Pacto"
Arnoldo Alemán faces a challenge to cling on to the leadership of the Partido Liberal Constitucionalista (PLC) and to keep the power-sharing pact with the Frente Sandinista de Liberación National (FSLN) alive. José Rizo, who finished third for the PLC in the elections on 5 November, is blaming Alemán and "El Pacto" for his defeat and the PLC's loss of 28 seats in the national assembly. He is calling for a total shake-up of the party.
